For Tax free shopping you will need to present your
immigration form or passport and ticket at the point of purchase, alcohol
and tobacco are delivered to the point of departure everything else can be
taken at the time of purchase.
Diamonds International, The Royal
Shop, Cave Shepherd , Harrisons,
Little Switzerland & Colombian Emeralds International
are the big Duty Free stores. There are many other shops selling
everything you would expect from holiday destination as well as the
everyday things seen in any other country.
The main supermarket chains are SuperCentre,
Trimart, Jordans and Emerald City
these stores open different hours and shorter hours at the weekend our
tip is to check sell by date on fresh products such as milk, yoghurts
etc... and also crisps & nuts.
There are many local Rum Shops that tend to have more
alcohol than food but they are definitely worth a tr if you are desperate
for a particular item.
Many Filling Stations have a good selection of basic
supplies and some are open 24 hours.
